Crawfordsville Feb 16 – Funeral services will be tomorrow at ladoga and Waveland for two Montgomery County mailmen who died yesterday. Rites will be tomorrow for Otha Herman Scott, 56, Ladoga, postmaster since 1944. He died yesterday at Robert Long Hospital in Indianapolis. A Boone County native, Mr. Scott was a veteran of WWI, member of the American Legion, Masonic Lodge and Ladoga Christian Church. He was a past worthy patron of the Order of Eastern Star at ladoga.
George Slavens, 74, rural mail carrier at Waveland since 1938 will be buried at Waveland tomorrow. A Spanish-American War and WWI veteran, Mr. Slavens was a member of the United Spanish War Veterans, American Legion, Morton Masonic Lodge, Order of Eastern Star and Waveland Methodist Church. - kbz
